Zooming and Scrolling

You can zoom in to get a more detailed view in an editing window. You can zoom either horizontally to view a smaller part of the recording or vertically to show a smaller amplitude range.
 
Horizontal zoom
 
To zoom in horizontally:
Move the mouse wheel downwards

To zoom out horizontally:
Move the mouse wheel upwards

Click View menu Zoom In
 
Note
You can zoom out to view the whole recording by selecting View -> Zoom Full.
 



Scrolling
 
In those cases where only a part of the recording is shown, a scroll bar is visible below the visualization of the wave form. You can use the scroll bar to view other parts of the recording.
